Year of the Horse: Personality, Element and Stones
Horse is the sign of momentum. Fast, sociable, and quietly allergic to being managed.
How this sign is usually described
- Starts before the plan is finished and is often right to.
- Needs motion — a stalled week reads as failure.
- Warm with strangers, abrupt with the people closest.
- Burns bright, then needs a full day of nothing.

Common questions
What is a Horse's ben ming nian?
The year of your own animal, every twelve years. Tradition treats it as a year to be careful rather than bold — the usual advice is to finish things rather than start them.
Which stone suits Horse?
Red tiger's eye and citrine are the common pairings for the momentum side; blue tiger's eye for the part that needs to slow down and look.
